I chose this piece of wood with the small limb hole and the natural small knot below for it's unique look. The natural bark lined hole along with the hue's of pink and yellow throughout, make this a stunning bowl to be displayed centrally in any home.

The Spalted Maple wood is rare to find and this piece also boast a natural knot hole which adds to the beauty. You will also find the shape of the log along the bottom of the piece with the color of the bark left undisturbed.

When making this piece, I was able to leave natural bark from the bottom, up the sides. The bark along with the dark wood grain on opposite sides of the top of the bowl, make a beautiful design. This bowl would make a wonderful display piece.
